Assalamulaikum kekawan semua

Sawadee kap, allmost all our group yang pergi to thailand for the paragliding tour dah selamat pergi and balik except for Zahari and the geng, they are still riding in thailand for the asean tour.. not bad,covering more than 5000km through bangkok, laos, changrai n etc. By this time Rafie pun maybe tengah on the way driving down south to kl. Drive carefully kawan2 n hav fun.

Anyway the trip to thailand was a success.. almost in every aspect... experience , records,contacts, more friends and so on and so forth. We were there for 3 mlm & 4 hari. Most of us managed to fly at one flying site je, which is at Koe Den,Petchaburi. Rafie kalau tak silap dapat fly at 3 flying site.

Kita org dapat fly the whole 3 hari,dari hari arrival lagi till the third day. the last day, tak fly coz on the way to the airport balik kl. Air asia tiket to bangkok return lebih kurang RM 550 - RM 620 depending berapa cepat kita booking. the remaining 4 days that we spent in thailand. another roughly RM 500. Good hotel, around RM60 semlm for two, good food, i mean goooood seafood. macam makan kat bagan lalang or umbai. Sewa motor for the morning town tour and sewa kereta jalan2 to the flying site & ada local resident pilot yang buat shuttle from the LZ to T/O site with some small fee.a bit of shoping and of course inclusive of traditional thai massage. So all in all kita org belanja dalam RM1100 for everything.

Was it worth it... yap aku rasa every penny of it. The flying site is about 2hrs from bangkok by road. elev... 900ft from top to bottom. facing East direction, wind average from 8-15km/hr
Thermal activity nice n smooth, plus minus 3-4mtr/sec. the rigde itself sepanjang 5-7km. the best part about this site, tak de burung besi terbang rendah kat situ. minimum height yang depa lalu about 15000' above, so not a problem to fly high. Some of us dapat flying more than 8000' and the view is breath taking n sejuk oooo. depan t/o site is a widespread of clear land sepanjang 30km towards the sea. and the thermalls... excellent..not so rough. some of us did a few top landing as well.to top land boleh buat. maybe need to do big ear all the way sampai touchdown. certain area kat tempat t/o dinamik lift kuat. all in all it was an excellent experience. boleh tanya semua yang pergi. one flight a day sudah memadai, cume ikut ketahanan diri masing2 je. landing site.. ample, mana2 boleh land,banyak clear area. For the t/o site kena bayar RM10 untuk satu hari terbang and the landing site tak bayar apa2, own by one of the resident pilot.

kita org duduk kat hua hin. place about 1 jam driving from t/o site. tapi tempat ni happening, penuh 80% tourist. macam bali pun ada. lots of activity n banyak tempat shopping souvenior. boleh sewa motor RM20 sehari or kereta/4x4 dalam RM150 sehari.makan banyak tempat ada. cume nak cari muslim food payah sikit. tu yang hari2 balun seafood tu.

In summary, the site is good for paragliders. .baik for beginner sampai advance pilot. Kalau ada rezeki,I might repeat the trip again,mungkin kali ni singgah kat other 2 flying site yang berdekatan. I belief every site has got its own challenge, kalau ada sapa2 yang berminat, kita bole cube lagi.
